Meanwhile over on a scummy ex race track in Digbeth....................not a single digger is seen prepping the land or brick has been laid in vain.

Its all gone a bit quiet over there  ;)

They haven't even submitted a planning application yet have they? It would be a bit strange if they were already doing works onsite.

I'd imagine a flaming eye a thousand feet above the stadium takes a bit of paperwork.

They have been given money AND permission to clear the current land as part of the deal for purchase, although not the full removal needed for a brownsite conversion. However they might also be waiting to acquire all the other land they need which includes all the businesses bordering it and some the other side of the railway/canal at the end of Garrison St/Midland St which showed as being used in the stadium in the fairytale website.

I have been in the North for a tour, but never seen the facilities. Does anybody have any pics?

I generally don't take pictures in the bogs mate.

Haha I should have qualified for concourse! I have always imagined its tiny and cramped for space down there.

It's not great, basic but for me nowhere near as bad as the Witton Lane. It's been helped by them opening up outside for smokers at half time, it's eased the numbers in the concourse and stopped the toilets reeking of smoke.

I am delighted the punters in the Cells GA+ will not be discomposed by this. Just the fools with the season tickets

Don't forget  Blose need to liaise with Birmingham Council with their project, plus Government with the new transport links. The Council can't even sort out the farcical bin strike! This redevelopment won't happen on time and will end up costing far more than anticipated. They won't make the play-offs now and will finish mid-table. They thought promotion would be a cakewalk! They have a dud of a manager and a bang average squad. They are miles off becoming any type of force.

Their owners already have a stake in the Birmingham Phoenix cricket team and there a rumours that they are interested in a rugby team as well.

Judging by the Championship table, it looks like they've bought the rugby players for the football team.
