It's also too sacred, too meaningful for players who aren't special to play there. Neil Ruddock and Vladimir Smicer graced that turf, they can't be having cloggers like Dembele or Yamal stinking the place out.

Which reminds me of this from a few years ago…possibly the best ever Liverpool song,

Don’t blame it on the Biscan,
Don’t blame it on the Hamann,
Don’t blame it on the Finnan,
Blame it on Traore,
He just can’t, he just can’t, he just can’t control his feet...

You are right, conversation always does come around to that on holiday, until it gets to my turn, I couldn't give a fuck what anyone else has paid around the pool, even less who they booked it with.

I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to another holiday maker on a holiday in my life. I definitely haven’t become friendly enough to be joining a conversation on how much everyone paid. Maybe I don’t go to the right resorts.

What's wrong with it, mole-holes ?

It's too short at 101m. UEFA require pitches in tournaments to be exactly the same size as Villa Park's i.e 105m x 68m.

Cheers. I thought all pitches at PL level were equalised in dimensions a few years ago.

Forest's pitch is the biggest on Premier League. Hull City's is bigger, but I'm not sure if they use their entire pitch in the Championshipp.

Anfield’s pitch isn't UEFA compliant.
I'm sure Anfield was a host venue for Euro96. That rule must've come in since.

On a loosely linked note.  I want to see more of Max’s woman in his videos.

Max’s woman
?

Villa on tour bloke.  Does vlogs on Villa games.  Sometimes brings his lady along.  She strikes me as being perfect.  She loves a drink and football.

Think Sam was expressing outrage at the idea of a woman being the possession of a man in down-town Aston 2025.
