My dad has his framed on the wall at home so I'm asking me to send me a picture of it.

Internal jukebox:

I'm gonna sit right down and write myself a letter
And make believe it came from you
I'm gonna write words, oh, so sweet
They're gonna knock me off my feet
Kisses on the bottom
I'll be glad I've got 'em

So I have to find a certificate rather than just point to my name on a slab on the floor. I can bring my passport too if that helps.

I’ve seen an email implying evidencing name/photo might work. My dad looked out a couple of ours, I haven’t had chance to start to dig yet but have sent a photo and evidence of name of mine (inc name change just to complicate it, still be a chance to get my newer monicker enshrined…)

How many pavers where there? I'm just wondering how many are potentially already taken now. (although obviously a percentage of pavers people might not be around / aware that they can claim).

I've asked for one of the wall plaques for Christmas.  Anyone know when they'll be going up? I want to secure my legacy at Villa Park.

Worked for me. Sent the details, and a couple of photos. They honoured it without question within a couple of days.

yep likewise. the person responding obviously has a lot to respond and I could have been a tiny bit clearer in my very first email, so it took too many emails but having sent 2 certificates for 2 pavers, and a photo of it and proof of name for the third, we've been told told we'll get the three bricks.

There is a 2 week window to place the order once they accept you.

Went in the upper Ellis last night for the first time in a while. During the 20 min queue on Witton Lane to get in it was noticeable that the “Aston Villa Football Club” was only half lit up, so it just read “ootball Club”. Same with the corner of the Trinity/Holte where they still have the old badge and half of the letters aren’t lit up. First world problem, I know, but it looks a bit tatty and I doubt it would cost much to fix. More worrying was the scrum under the stand at half time where people were pinned against each other for quite a while and were forced to go with the flow. Not life threatening or anything but I’d have been concerned if I’d had a young kid with me. Never mind, pay your £90, stop moaning and be grateful for everything Heck is doing for us. And while im moaning, the M1 was down to a single lane for fucking miles last night, got back to London at 2am. Loved the Clarry Blue tifo though!

Makes the best of what we have on-site, no problem with this. Completion date is late 2026.

They’re turning a current building into a venue and calling the car park a plaza. Exciting stuff.
