The Witton Upper concourse is such a poor design, a H&S
nightmare and not sure how they get away with it .

Having used the Witton Lane Upper on Saturday, for the first time in about 25 years, I was actually really shocked by just how awful this concourse is, uncomfortable at best and very possibly dangerous.
It's an accident waiting to happen

There was a lounge in the upper that reduced numbers in the main concourse.

Of course, that's no longer available to the proles.
The Lions Club i think it was called. Another distant memory .

I was in K6 and I have to say the toilets there were fine. Looked like they'd been refurbished and were clean.

That's the positive, now the negatives. The shambles with the lower Holte not getting in was inexcusable. It didn't help that the doors opened late. The new ticket system seemed to work but to assume that everyone has a phone was poor. If these people don't have a phone how likely are they to have a printer?

Finally, the match clock being on the screen instead of to the left of the North (from the Holte) is a terrible decision. Yes we know it's Villa Park FFS. It's far too small and I couldn't read it. I had to take a photo and zoom in to see how much time was left. I'll certainly be complaining about this.
Hang on, did you go to the toilets in the upper concourse at half time?  All the troughs were blocked and overflowing in the first part and blocked and nearly over flowing in the second.

Who the fuck is running this club? The fan experience has to be at an all time low. At least in the PL era.

Having a ticket platform that isn't fit for purpose and ripping off members is one thing, but disgusting basic hygiene crosses another level.

It's really not that difficult to check though, before hand, they've only had the last three months or so.

Not for the Lower Holte, They didn't start that until after the foo fighters so right at the end of June.

No I went as soon as I got in and they were ok then. Shame they reverted to the usual state by half time. That is terrible.

It wasn’t the usual state, it was the worst I’ve ever seen them.  The usual state is busy, a bit grim but functional.  This was entirely blocked and half the urinals in that toilet were out of use as they were literally overflowing.

In fairness I don’t think it’s Heck’s fault that something clearly blocked the plumbing, but I get why fans feel it’s a kick in the nuts after all the corporate and GA+ bollocks.

On TripAdvisor there are no reviews of Villa Park Stadium...
Perhaps if a few went on there complaining about the basics.....queues, toilets, catering ...our social media team might get the message...as it's there for all to see..

For a fan experience in some stands I'd score it only 1.5/5

We all love the ground, but it deserves some TLC

I am surprised local health authorities have not been involved.

There's plenty of the tour that include matches and gigs. https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g186402-d3681597-Reviews-Aston_Villa_Stadium_Tour-Birmingham_West_Midlands_England.html

The stadium tour is excellent, was amazing when we had the old Trinity...they don't take you in the Doug Ellis mind...and definitely not the gents..

If the toilet situation gets any worse we could all be watching The Poo Fighters.

They’re still in the queue outside the lower Holte
