Some of the hospitality places had 100% increases this summer too.
Talking to my contact at the club today, bit more info. Nothing especially exciting, but anyway:They've taken out all but two of the boxes in the Doug Ellis. They've got a brand new premium hospitality area called The Aston which mirrors the old Directors Club (now called the Oak Room) across the way in the Trinity. £16,800 a season if you fancy it. Then there are new lounge offerings in the Doug as well, where the boxes used to be. They've done absolutely nothing at all to the behind glass boxes in the North which are staying exactly as they were before, which seems a bit odd.Only the very premium corporate hospitality will still get parking at the ground, which backs up the idea that they've got plans for the car parks.
If they are opening up more corporate space to fans in the DE , Hopefully that will make more space in the plebs areas. (I know I am clutching )
I tend to always buy a bottle of water and a drink for the boy. Sometimes a programme for him and on ocassions, the sausage roll can be quite decent.

Maybe there will be a Guardian think piece on it later in the season in lieu of reporting anything on the Villa team currently 14 points clear at the top of the league.
They’ll still not generate a round coin (or virtual one) from me this season when it comes to buying ‘products’ in the stadium bowl.
