Never in doubt! I hope Mings can get rid of his silly mistakes before the fans come back.

As comfortable a victory as you could ever hope for. Newcastle wouldn't have looked like scoing if the game had lasted 9 hours.

They have turned in to us post-O'Neill and pre-Smith.

At 91 minutes, Carragher absolutely ripped into the club that is N'castle United; went on a right rant!

An unbelievably easy win. Dominance was much much more than 2-0 scoreline.

Our 9th league win of the season and barely half way through. We only won 9 all season last year.

He was the biggest danger for us in this match.

I think that was perfect for us.
Feeling our way after a long lay off, and a very, very tough game at Man City.
A nice little sharpener, to get another game into Barkley and generally work on match fitness.

Perfect.

A comfortable win without even getting into 2nd gear.

The world may be mental, but football is good again.

Targett, Konsa, Watkins and Marv were the pick.
Barkley was very disappointing - expected to see him stride through with confidence and assurance and actually he gave the ball away and was generally ineffective.
Great to get another clean sheet.

About as comfortable a second half as I can remember recently. They had the odd threat in the first half but seemed to settle for not getting hammered. Can't imagine Newcastle fans will have been massively impressed.

It was the sort of win the really top teams get. Never really threatened, always in control. Didn't have to get out of second gear. Even resting a star player at the end.

Very happy with that. Targett, Marvelous and Traore were stand out performers.

Edit: and Watkins. Who worked his bollocks off as usual and got a deserved goal.
