Aston Villa 2-0 Newcastle post match thread

Ho hum. Made very easy work of Newcastle. Never out of third gear because we didn’t need to be. MOTM Marv for his industry justifying his selection. Bert or Konsa probably second, but nobody had to really stand out. Good to see Ollie get back on the scoresheet.

You will never see a more routine 2-0 home win.
A little disappointing we didn’t put them to the sword.

They couldve declared at 8.42pm. I dont think I've ever seen a team so deep at 0-2. Easiest game of the season.

I think it’s safe to say Newcastle players aren’t playing for Bruce.

As comfortable a victory as you could ever hope for. Newcastle wouldn't have looked like scoing if the game had lasted 9 hours.

Routine win, they were awful, disappointed we didn’t score a few more but how nice it is to win a game without any nerves at the end. Keep it going, Villa.
