I have not get this good about Villa since that season under O’Neill when we nearly cracked the top 4.

I think it was written at the start of the season - might even have been written by Dave - that as a Villa fan, sometimes you get the feeling that something special is brewing. And I believe it now more than I did pre-season. And I had that feeling then!

What vision that was from Jack to set up Traore. Not many players in the league would have seen that.

I agree Chris, and still very early in the project.

So so easy.

Newcastle are terrible. I feel sorry for them having to put up with Bruceball.

We are playing with the intensity of a training ground kickaround - because there's no need to put any more than that into it.

We are playing well within ourselves.
But even then, we are such a good team.

Half time. Great half, and we haven't really got into our top gear yet. We could really funeral these.

At the risk of putting the mockers on it, Newcastle are absolutely god-awful and are there to be properly battered. Bruce is such a charlatan as a PL manager (very good in the Championship though).

and then got the weight of the pass so perfect. Great pass, spectacular finish.

Bertie - he might not track back too much, but actually, there’s something about him. A bit of a maverick.

Let’s put these guys to the sword now

He's a proper luxury player.

And isn't is great that Villa are getting good enough to have and play luxury players.

One of those horrible ones. It'll be off wi his head.

I can't remember which manager once said "It is the bad players who are a luxury". I really like Bertie.
