Excellent draw which I thought at times might even become a win. All those Chelsea fans on social media moaning they hard done by, well that’s finally the Ivanovic handball and Terry Wembley challenges finally evened out.

Evened out? Nope.

Not even begun to be close. Though Terry is obviously doing plenty of personal penance at the moment.

A very good result against a decent team.
They brought on two players costing around 120m pounds and we brought on two graduates from the youth set up. Makes me proud that we are now going toe to toe with the likes of Chelsea and we will keep improving.

Excellent result. Hard earned! Chelsea are good tonight. We still could have won though!

Bald Franks post match interview is laughable. Numerous mentions of how they had a man down. It was Grealish who was fouled for fuck sake.

The one thing that works in our favour is that we’re a young side so should recover well from so many games in quick succession. Better than older squads anyway. AEG, Hause, Ramsey and Barkley should have no fatigue concerns either. Man U will be another tough test but we’ll be ready.

I’d stick with Konsa and Hause at the back too. We look very solid defensively.

Decent draw, if unexpected. Will be a great Christmas period's work if we get something against Newton Heath on Friday.

Absolute hilarity over on SHA. Loads of gnashing of teeth about Jack fouling their defender while playing the ball and being body-checked by the same which then devolves into some wacky LSD-induced conspiracy theory about how we are looking to put them out of business by stealing all of their academy coaches and investing in our own women's team. No, i'm not making that up! Comedy gold!  ;D

AEG is the first villa player to score in 3 successive premier league games since ....(no cheating)?

You'd imagine it would be Benteke but will go for a wildcard and guess Tom Cleverley.

Correct

Well, bugger me. Villa top five with a million games in hand and I get something right. And people said 2020 was shit?

Have to admit I didn’t think Cleverly scored 3 goals in his time with us let alone 3 in 3 games!
I actually laughed out loud when I read CD’s answer as I thought it was a good joke.

I love the fact that this season we can be shwashbuckling and dig in like tonight. Though Traore was weak link first half but he improved his defensive awareness in the second. The defence was great, don’t think Tyrone gets back in on Friday.
Ben chiilwell just said  we had one Shot and scored, eh, the goal, Mendy saved from grealish first half, McGinn hit the bar, Ramsey just wide, whatever mr chilwell
Good he can believe that. Obviously since joining the bunch of deluded ****** he has quickly adapted to become one.

How the fuck is our goal being talked about as a foul 😂
Because we have no right to go to the citadel that is Stamford Bridge and not only score but equalise and deny them a win.

When I see things like that I'm reminded of Sir Graham saying that nobody complained about Watford when they went from the fourth division to the first. They only complained when they were winning at Old Trafford & Anfield.

If you want a good laugh, look at the neighbours message boards. SHA have their usual multi page Villa match thread, crying over Super Jack.

But MolMix has to be the most hilariously bitter thread I've seen in a while! Page after page of sanctimonious hang wringing about cheating when they have players diving week in and week out for penalties. Only Man United and the Wolves have had players booked for diving this year. Tsk tsk.

Think there's a bit of a bottom lip out. Much like those bitter tossers from Sandwell "knowing what they are..." so too the tatters from Dinglehampton have believed in "minding the gap" a bit too much. Now natural order in the universe is restored, it tae fair!
I've lived amongst them for 30 years, they have a massive vein busting hard on over us. They didnt mention us for the entire time i've been here, the absolute second they finished above us in 2016 or whatever it was, they were aching to create a rivalry, now normal service ol has been restored they can not handle it. I love it that the only thing they claim us to be is a diving club, they are the biggest diving ****** in the league by a mile. Neto, Adama, Coady, Podence, over the last month or so have been horrendous. Atleast Albion and Blues know what they are. These fuckers have the biggest chip in the country.
