I think if we'd had Trez and Barkley available for that game we'd have won

Trez available would have meant no El Goalzi

Edit: I assume you meant to come on 👍

Lampard come across as really bitter after the game. He’s feeling the pressure.

Danny Mills. Why even give him your time of day?

He’s a right moody aunt lately. It’s great

He was complaining that we scored when one of his players was down injured.
He was down feigning injury you mean. Pathetic.

Danny Mills in having controversial opinions for money shocker. Why oh why anyone listens to Talkshite I have no idea.

Anyway cracking performance from the lads today, really enjoyed the tenacity and willingness to not be dictated to by a talented team. What we learnt is that we’re talented too though as Amazon Primes whole agenda seemed to be about Frank and his squad as usual we got no credit for what we did. That’ll change soon enough....
Townsend Le Saux very complimentary about us. Berlin was a bit of a Dick but I thought the coverage was fair.

I hope Barkley and Trez are back soon, and Wesley too. We need to give a couple of players a breather, what with all these games coming up.

I worry about muscular injuries if we keep the intensity up as we have been.

Chelsea's squad is something else, their bench would make most other teams first side. We were really good against them..

After what has been a tumultuous year for everyone, and certainly for the club given where we appeared to be headed, to end it 5th in the PL, 3 points back with 2 games in hand on Leicester in 2nd, with a considerably better GD is simply astonishing.

This is a pretty much perfect summation of where we are. What a season it is so far. Love this team.

It's almost like a Villa fan got a genie's lamp for Xmas last year.

"Congratulations to you, the new owner of this lamp, but due to cutbacks I can grant you just one wish."

"I want Villa to stay in the premier league and be challenging for the European places this time next season."

"Well, err... OK; but a wish like that comes at a cost."

"I don't care, the whole world can go to shit as long as Villa are doing well...."

I hope Ross is back Friday. We can at least have another option.

Really does seem like our players would play everyday at the moment. Great, but it’ll cost us eventually. When we’re 3-0 up at Old Trafford we can throw Nakamba and Davis on to give the pro’s a break

I had reservations about Hause coming in but he’s really exceeded my expectations and the defence looked solid.

For all his poor distribution he more than made up for it with his heading. Chelsea put a lot of crosses into the box and 9 times out of ten he was on the end of it. Great defending.
His defending is excellent and he seems to have bulked out. He is a fuckin unit. They can work on his distribution.

Excellent draw which I thought at times might even become a win. All those Chelsea fans on social media moaning they hard done by, well that’s finally the Ivanovic handball and Terry Wembley challenges finally evened out.

If Smith was José and AEG was Son, you know everyone in the mainstream media would be wanking off saying that was a perfect performance to get an away draw.

AEG is the first villa player to score in 3 successive premier league games since ....(no cheating)?

You'd imagine it would be Benteke but will go for a wildcard and guess Tom Cleverley.

Correct

Well, bugger me. Villa top five with a million games in hand and I get something right. And people said 2020 was shit?

Have to admit I didn’t think Cleverly scored 3 goals in his time with us let alone 3 in 3 games!
