I think AEG had a decent game save the obvious; I wish we had better, but we definitely could have worse. I see some who are optimistic about Traore and I envy your ability to find sunshine in dark places, but I just do not see it. For me, he is a poor man's Arjen Robben who lacks the pace and clinical finishing that made his lack of a right foot forgivable on most occasions. I would have preferred to have seen Ramsey in the starting lineup ahead of Traore and nothing I saw changed that.

Mee manages to cynically foul Grealish and kick Watkins in the face with a high tackle. Stays on the pitch. If ever a player deserved a broken fucking leg, its that ******. Meanwhile Wesley is still a few months off fitness.

Yes, we should have won; yes, we missed a number of good chances; yes, some players are not to the high standard to which some on here aspire. However, over the last three games we have played some really good football, created lots of chances and extended the experience of a number of players getting Premier League football. We are a team in transition; characterised by inconsistency. We're getting better and are light years away from last season.AEG got dog's abuse on twitter: read the match thread back (and there are some of my comments on there!) and this thread and - perhaps - reflect on whether the abuse is confined to twitter.I have no idea about the abuse players get on Twitter, but El Ghazi was dreadful tonight. Very similar to performances last season.Great guy, and without doubt, instrumental in our promotion. He's not good enough for this level.

Destroyed Matt Lowton anyway. Did Traore or Watkins even have a shot in comparison?

Your use of the word 'criminal' seems a little OTT.We spent shitloads in the summer: we all know we could have done with more, but there's only so much ...... I'm enjoying the fact that we are dominant and assured; we look like a good EPL team. It takes time.
