Traore is an odd one, in that in midfield he likes to try one touch passes and flicks, but in the box he takes touches where he should be whacking it first time.

Yeah, rushed when he had time, dwelt on it too long in tight situations. The classic signs of having trouble getting used to the PL. I’m optimistic about him.

We need upgrades on Trez and Anwar.  They have cost us about 7 points this season.

Championship players. We will stutter and plateau with that kind of quality.

McGinn and Jack were great.

Did Nakamba play?

I’m not sure how Trez evens get on this thread considering he’s at home with a pulled hamstring

Well his free kick did force a world class save and rattle the bar.

World class? Not sure on that, has he actually scored direct for us?

Free kicks, corners ..... almost always shite.

Nice guy, I agree with that,

It was a great save from Pope and an excellent free kick.

Battered West Ham and battered Burnley. 1 point. Football, you're an odd ball.
We didn't deserve three points at Wolves, one at a stretch, football
That’s true, although we were much more in the game at Wolves than Burnley were tonight.

They just go long and compete for a second ball whenever possible or swing the ball in first time from the flanks when the opportunity arises. There is no guile or flair involved.

Their defenders are generally solid, but had the referee been doing his job, Mee and Taylor would have had early yellows and that would have changed the game as well.

AEG’s play was reasonably good apart from the woeful finishing, but I still can’t see what Traore offers.

Also why put Davis wide when he came on? That made no sense. Surely that’s when Watkins should be going wide as he’s used to playing there.

Whilst the deputies were ok, tonight emphasised how we could do with some more strength in depth as we didn’t ensure what should have been a routine win.

I'm not sure about Watkins tonight. He didn't look available for a pass or a through ball very much.

He was always hanging off the shoulder of the last man for all our big chances, waiting for a rebound or, God forbid, a pass.

I agree. It was as though nobody trusted him, like they'd only put him in if he'd have nothing to do to score.

There won’t be an easier 3 points this season than that.

Totally unacceptable.
???

Some of the shots from El Ghazi/Traore - yes unacceptable and predictable.

Traore was puffing VERY early, El Ghazi showed last seasons form.

In cricket those shots - pea rollers. Dreadful.

How does El Ghazi get the free kicks?

What was wrong with his free kick? took it perfectly

we were well in the game at Wolves; either could have won it. We did.
Get over it.
Quite right, it was ours to win and we deserved it.
Also when considering half our team was on a yellow in the first half.

Trez didn't look great for a lot of last season but after the restart he really did the business for us in my opinion.

Mee manages to cynically foul Grealish and kick Watkins in the face with a high tackle. Stays on the pitch.

If ever a player deserved a broken fucking leg, its that ******. Meanwhile Wesley is still a few months off fitness.

It was an even game. Both sides had a pair of really good chances, but it was stop start and spoilt by the referee. In the end, despite having 10 men, we were braver and went for it and were rewarded for that bravery. Barely deserved a point is utter bollocks.

In a game where El Ghazi squandered plenty of chances, it seems pretty pointless to go out of your way to try to undermine an undeniably brilliant effort.

21 shots off target isn't good. We need another striker in January.
