No, my fault.

No, I wondered similar I just didn’t want to remind people of Robert Pires.

Netflix documentary is out. It’s not quite what I expected. 10 mins in, and it’s been 50 per cent cartoon.

Well I've just watched it and there wasn't a single mention of what happened to take Martinez from barely getting a game at Arsenal to becoming Argentina's number 1 and the Copas America and World Cup winners medals that followed. In fact, watching it you could imagine that nothing's happened since 2022.

The Argentinian media is worse than the English one for its blatant anti-Villa agenda.

They don't like us going on about 1982.

Sounds like Liverpool want Alisson to stay. Good news for our chances of keeping Dibu.

It’s really odd that he couldn’t take the number 1 spot at Arsenal and it’s not integral to his rise to being noticed. It’s as if they’re showing Arsenal in a really good light when they never really gave him a chance. Overall it’s pretty shit really and could have been done far better unless it was aimed at 8 year olds?

I did think his wife came across really well.

There was literally about 10seconds of footage where you could see Emi training and the Villa badge was very clear on his kit, but this was at the very end. If you didn't know what had happened you'd think Emi had miraculously gone from Arsenal reserves to Argentina first team, and we all know that wasn't the case.

I just thought it was really poor to not tell the story properly.

Agree with the earlier comment that his wife came across really well.
