He can go in the summer, but it would be borderline catastrophic to let him go in January.

Exactly. Sell him after they've won the World Cup with him saving a Kane penalty in the last minute.

I see Spurs have now also been linked with him.

Make that £100m then 😃

Who could we go for as a replacement?
A couple off the top of my head.

Chevalier seems out of favour at PSG
James Trafford could be gettable

The Barca keeper we were linked with also seems to be on the verge of being replaced.

Caoimhin Kelleher, obviously.

James Trafford wants a move if reports are to be believed. Fancy being brought in as Number One and then losing your spot without a game being played.

I've only ever seen him play in the U21 tournament a couple of summers ago, and he looked really good.  If he is as good as everyone seems to think, and he's available, then it's the goalkeeping position covered for a decade.

I have no idea how good he is with his feet, as Unai's goalkeepers need to be able to pick a pass.

He would be mad to say no to us if we asked.

Trafford's a very good shout though he'll be expensive as Man City paid £27m (£31m but £4m was their sell-on fee). As long as there'd be no buy back clause to Man City, he'd certainly be on my top 3 list.  As Smithy mentioned he was great for the England U21s but it was at Burnley he really impressed me whenever I saw him in action, which was most weeks as it's a mate's team. Buying the right goalkeeper, even if a little expensive is still as we've seen with Emi, a smart investment. I think he'd jump at the chance to be our number 1.
