He's a Villa Great, one of the best players to have ever played for our club. I hope he leaves us with some silverware and his head held high.

This season it will be.

Should we drop him for Jawdies if Bizot does well in Turkey?

I don't think k he could have many complaints

No. Martinez is by a distance the better of the two.

Not travelled to Turkey, apparently.

Well we know he's fit as he played on Sunday.  I'm sure the official line is he got a 'knock'.

Could just be they don’t want to take any risks with the injury he’s been nursing but…

…really need your biggest and most expensive players to be a touch more reliable.

Either Emi is being lined up for a move this month so we can get other players or he's just been rested to get that injury fixed. I don't think it's anything sinister that he doesn't want to play. He hasn't really looked right a lot of the season. I wonder if the calf injury affects his jumping because he's been much less than his usual self in that category.

Re Tanswell’s article: wasn’t Bizot in goal at Leeds?

Edit: no.

I'm fine with him not travelling, we need him fit and focused for the league games.

Unless he is lining up a move.

Need him to stay the season anyway. Minding himself ahead of the WC I suspect.

It’s been obvious for a while that he wants out.
Not sure what else needs explaining.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he left in this transfer window.

You could explain how you've come to that conclusion.
