Tough to criticise today but I will anyway. I don't see him anywhere near as dominant in our box this season than in times past. For the penalty incident, he should be dealing with that cross for me not leaving it to Rogers. With our weakness in the air, we need Martinez being more decisive in those situations. Let's be honest. he fell backwards and the ball hit him as he flailed to keep his balance and then for the pen he tripped and landed on the ball.

I don't think any keeper would've tried to claim that corner, Evanilson headed it back from a few yards beyond the far post, no way should a keeper be coming out that far in a crowded area.

I don't think anyone was a fault for that other than the ref not giving himself a chance to consider whether there was any way Rogers was even aware of where Evanilson was heading towards, let alone try to block the ball. I'm also not sure how putting an arm up as you turn and recover from a nudge in the back is unnatural so even the argument that he was making his body bigger intentionally doesn't really stand up, just shit from the ref.

Sure, sometimes. But wasn't the case for that one today. Same v Burnley with their goal. It's something I've noticed more in his game this season. At his best he's maiming anyone brave enough to come into his patch. Nothing wrong with his stop stopping, mind!
