If he does pull on that coveted Villa jersey again, I will neither boo him or applaud him.
I expect him to do what he’s paid to do and keep the ball out of Villa’s net. That’s it.

Vice captain, previously giving it the ‘I owe Villa big time’ big one to Ben Foster’s VLOG, and then in his next breath tries to dump us for that basket case of a club, when we’re depending on our more senior players to pull us through this troubled period.

If he doesn’t run and hide in Turkey or Saudi (*as their windows are still open), he’s got a lot of making up to do!

Massively disappointed in him. Thought he was built differently, but no, turns out he’s the same as all the others that don’t really give a shit about the people that have given them their platform.

Agree with this.

I think he has to work to get his spot back. I think that’s important for the rest of the squad to see that you can’t behave the way he has and expect to waltz neck in.

Hope he stops that shit he started pulling last season - parrying shots for the cameras and palming them back into danger.

🚨 From Martínez’s side, he believes he has demonstrated his commitment & professionalism by playing through illness & injury before, as well as when there was uncertainty about his future.
@TomCollomosse

🚨 NEW: The call to leave out Emi Martínez came from Emery, rather than a case of the goalkeeper refusing to play — he was prepared to line up against Crystal Palace but was told over the weekend that he would not be involved. @TomCollomosse

Exactly what I've been saying.  No reason whatsoever why he couldn't have played on Sunday, but the managers ego got in the way and it's blown up in his face.  Emery, Monchi and Vidagany should be getting the blame for this, not Martinez.

Must've been that Tom Bradley got involved and stopped the move!

Or you could give up and move on. Ever heard of masturbation? Sure you have. It's more fun than what you're currently up to.
