Lets get behind him. He has been abit of a knob but he is our player. Until  we are told otherwise  we get nothing out of turning on one our own.

We get the enjoyment of satisfying our sense of righteousness.

Haven't you just spent the past 24 hours slagging every one of our players going? Yet this disloyal, ungrateful ****** tries to run off to a shitshow of a circus at the 11th hour and you're telling everybody else to back him?

Here’s an idea Emi, do a Lucas Digne and sign a new deal with a wage cut.

We actually do not know if he's acted like a twat, though. There is plenty of 'smoke' around the handling of the window to make that not cut and dried.

Also, whatever he's done, it's not even in the same fucking postcode as Gareth Barry and Liverpool and that Evening Mail front page about letting him follow his dreams.

That was 10 times as bad, and we accepted him 'back'.
Exactly this. Let’s wait to to hear the full story before condemning him

To run off to that particular shitshow, could it be any worse.

Barry never deliberately sabotaged the club or refused to play. This is much worse.

On the other hand, he didn’t take the penalty…

After talking to his representatives for 7 months & having known the price for at least 3. Man Utd, desperate for a goalkeeper, didn't think the world's number one was worth the money.

That must feel like an almighty kick in the bolloxs, even to someone as thick skinned as Martinez.

Why was that, by the way?

Sounds like they stitched him right up. I still think it's funny.
