I'd be interested to hear anyone who was anti-Grealish coming back but would be happy to welcome Emi back from this, as i honestly don't see the difference.  One went through the other didn't, but the intentions were the same.

I'm pro-Grealish, by the way.

He didn’t kill anyone. I agree that we should be upset, especially yesterday but if he settles back in and plays well we still have an outstanding keeper.

I also have it on good authority that he hasn't put up a St. George's flag on his house.

Not killing anyone is a fairly low level at which to set the bar of acceptable behaviour.

United have pretty much stitched him up.

I can’t see him staying. I think he’ll go anywhere he can now.

In his defence at least he didn’t say he was “highly delighted” like Yorke did when he was tapped up linked with that lot. Probably thought it though.

Barry was a bigger rat with his piece in the Sunday paper, and had tried to leave a few times before as well.

He will get some stick, like Barry did for a game or two. Then it'll be sort of okay but not like it was before for quite some time. Albeit what he has done is much closer to Hodge than Barry. Even Delph didn't wait until the last possible second fuck us over.

Not even close to what Hodge did and much more like Barry. Barry told MON he wanted to join Liverpool who like Man U with Emi had started the process months before and unsettled him. Barry got fucked over by Liverpool like Emi has by Man U when they didn't pay the fee we wanted having known it for a while.

The red card at Old Trafford was extremely Hodge-esque, I'm sorry.

I still find it hard to accept it wasn't deliberate, especially given the subsequent nonsense.

I think we need to put an end to it now and say he's not for sale.

Barry didn't wait until the last second to fuck us over and didn't refuse to play. In fact I remember him scoring against some Icelandic mob while his future was still up in the air. Martinez is much closer to Hodge on the Quisling Scale, IMO.

Yorke kissing the badge in front of our fans at OT remains the biggest betrayal I've witnessed in football.

Emi is a long way off what Hodge, Delph, Yorke, Downing did. It's more Gareth Barry. And Jack essentially manufactured a move behind our backs and even refuzed to train waiting for the deal to be finalized. The saving grace there was the massive fee we got in return.

Am I being completely naive? I don't recall having heard Emi say that he wanted to leave, but just that he might have to. Do correct me if I'm wrong! (I often get things wrong!)
