Seems everyone remembers the Brain Fart, yet no one remembers the previous 45 minutes where we would have probably already be 3-0 down going in the break if Olsen was in goal. If any 1 of the 10 outfield players had bothered turning up in the first half, the brain fart might not have happened.

I can't see how he doesn't leave today. Surely he doesn't piss us about like he did yesterday if he wasn't 99% certain the transfer was going through?

We will cave as late as possible and sell him for pennies when it is too late to get a replacement. That's the way the window has gone.

IMO he’s more likely to stay than leave. Last day of the transfer window and we’ve got to sign a top quality replacement for less wages. How realistic is this?

Im sorry but people talk about not keeping unhappy players, I think it’s overstated personally. If they don’t stump up £40 million they can get fucked.

That’s his market worth so show us the money or fuck off. And Martinez will just have to do as he’s told. If they want him then pay for him.

Correct. If he refuses to play he gets fined every week and doesn't go to the World Cup. That's not going to happen.

The fallout if he now stayed would be worse then if he left.

The fallout if he leaves for a pittance will be that every other player thinks they can act the twat to force a move for pennies.

I can live with that far more than letting him go for half that.

They are both bad scenarios though with him and Manure leaving it this late.

He leaves and we have a chance to get someone at least, although with our current track record of getting anyone decent in.........

If he stays he either doesn't play and we have to rely on Bizot and kids for half a season, or we do play him and fans will be on his back and seeing any mistake as a player who can't be bothered. And in either case of stopping, the dressing room won't be the same as we have already seen.

So I've just read that The World's Greatest Club has agreed terms with both Martinez and the Belgian lad, but they will only sign one of them. Surely he wouldn't have thrown this grenade into the squad if it's only 50/50 that he goes there?
