Bailey hasn’t been sacrificed. He’s been moved on for being really inconsistent.

Bailey’s reaction after the last home game suggests he knew he was leaving this summer.

You could say the same about Emi's reaction!

I think Emi was sure he was going, probably to United, changed his agent to one of Amorins mentors and clearly twerked hard for it, not realising they were hell bent on spunking £210 million on forwards, one of which the arguably don't need. Leaving Baleba and Emi nowhere. I'd want £50 m at this stage of the window.

Donnarumma to Citeh, Emi to ManUre. I can feel it in my mystic waters.

That's a Donny rumour.

Given what happened in the ManUre - Arse game today, I wonder of we need to brace ourselves again for their warchest to try and swoop.

It's been widely reported today that the deal was all but agreed but the Man U board didn't approve and the deal died. I can't see them coming back for Emi and even if they did we wouldn't be able to find a suitable replacement so late in the window.

That being the case we should be actively looking for another keeper with a view to off loading Emi in January to Saudi or abroad somewhere.

I'd take forty million for Martinez if we could get Donarumma for the same and do some creative FFP shenanigans while we were at it.

I still can’t fathom out why Emi did what he did to Højlund. I know he’s bonkers, but even so it was so rash and unprofessional. His head had gone. I reckon he didn’t want to go and was fuming about it.

I think the whole performance was messed up by conversations that were had in the last couple of week of the season...

No chance let him stay the season now, WC summer ahead for him so he will be happy to stay.

However Man United are a fundamentally stupid club that react to former players/media/supporters, another poor display of goalkeeping before the window closes and they will go to the market for a new keeper. I'm not sure how Onana is meant to thrive under Amorim when he clearly doesn't rate him.

I would guess Donarumma's wages would be well beyond our SCR limit.

Isn't Donnarumma's weakness his ball playing ability?  I can't see him being a fit for us if it is.
