Given what happened in the ManUre - Arse game today, I wonder of we need to brace ourselves again for their warchest to try and swoop.

I was thinking the same thing

Neville using his platform to push for a new keeper too.

No doubt upping their original offer to include a piece of cheese and a rat trap

Are you suggesting that Salford will actually offer us some cash this time, rather than begging for a loan deal?

Martinez' price has gone up now. With Ramsey gone, we've got room to breathe financially, and they are desperate.

I just don't see us selling him unless they pay £80m-£100m

Those were the two that Neville suggested (including Martinez) that had the personality to be the no.1 at Old Trafford. Why either would consider going there beggars belief for me but who knows.

Bizot was quality on Saturday.

Based on that no worries on the number two coming on for Emi at any point this season so that's a nice feeling compared to the mass panic of Olsen or Nyland in last five years.

However far too late in the summer to sell Emi on top of Ramsey. Would create more negativity which we don't need.

The players have probably been expecting Martinez to leave.
I still think it might happen.

I think it would have happened by now. I don’t think anybody prepared to pay a price of any consequence for him.

Emi was supposed to be the fall guy and that was why JJ offered new contract to retain value. Then as it became apparent nobody was going to pay for him JJ (and Leon) got sacrificed.

Remains to be seen how Emi feels about it all this and how he plays.

Bailey hasn’t been sacrificed. He’s been moved on for being really inconsistent.
