We cleverly forced Durán out "on the cheap" by only accepting double what we were offered for him six months earlier.

Problem number 98327 with PSR is basically the whole world knows we have to sale by a deadline otherwise we get point deductions.

Probably halfing the value of most of players until we meet that point.  I dont see why any club would do business to us until the day or 2 before the window when were at the most desperate.

That's under the assumption the fee we need is massive. It might be 10-15 million and we can sell a kid or two. I honestly think we would take a 9 point hit over selling a player for half price. W
Selling the wrong player for half price could likely cost us 9 points anyway.

HT just said what I was thinking; I don’t think we’re in the mire to more than just a few £millions.
Whereas, reading and listening to lots of pundits, we’d need to sell the entire team. Preferably to MancU.

*imagined paragraphs of invective re MU

Can’t be bothered with also rans.

We only trebled his value in 2 years and made £50m+ in profit, fucking useless.

Thats a fair point - but we have 2 PSR issues - 1 is what we need to do by June - the second is trying to ensure we keep broadly within it next year without the UCL revenue - both of which diminish our barginning power.  We need to have one eye on next summer

If he's going I'd rather he went now, give us as much time as possible to get a replacement we want in.

Yep, fuck waiting to around to see what happens and then losing him late on.

Especially when the player doesn't want to go, it's just the club trying to force them out on the cheap like with Duran.

Monchi and Vidagany need booting out
I can't work out if your fishing for reactions or you are generally so unhappy with the club at the moment, or just completely fed up with life.

Hopefully we can perform better in this transfer window than we did in the January one cos that was an unmitigated disaster. If not.....Vidagany and Monchi out!!

We were eighth when we concluded our incoming deals in the winter transfer window, averaging 1.54 points per game. We finished sixth, on 1.74 points per game. Going the other way, we made a profit on Philogene, brought in nearly £10 million for Diego Carlos and trebled our money on Durán.

"Unmitigated disaster", right enough.

I think, it might have been tongue in cheek
