I'm sure we can analyse every segment of the interview for clues

How could he possibly , even consider playing for them  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Surely his long standing comments about our fans etc would mean he would be hated if her returned to VP in a Cnut shirt.

Any major European team and he would have a heroes welcome - but not them or Chelsea  - no sir

Surely it is just the biased media linking them with everyone so the plastics can toss themselves off thinking they are back to being a big and relevant club again

Tamworth, eh? Maybe Dogtanian and Olofs's Beard can come out of their grand homes in the town and worship at the feet of Mrs Martínez with overtures to make her stay. Her husband not leaving would merely be a bonus.

I’d give it a go, but unfortunately I have this week swapped the beautiful, sun-drenched splendour of Tamworth for dreary Tenerife.

I’m in Tamworth tomorrow and Thursday so I’ll have a word with Mrs M.

Make sure you make it back in time for Pulp in Brum next week. They outdid themselves live in Dublin tonight, just incredible.

Definitely not going to miss it, I can’t wait! Though we are seeing them in Manchester at the weekend.

Glad you had a good time, Jarvis knows how to put on a show.

Speaking to DAZN Futbol in Spain, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Martinez ‘wants something different in his career’ and him leaving is a ‘very real possibility’, and although he has offers from Saudi Arabia, he would prefer to wait for an opportunity in Europe.

Despite the ongoing chatter over his future though, Romano adds that there are no advanced talks with any interested parties currently as the goalkeeper market is a bit slower than other positions, and there will be a wait for a domino to fall before there is clarity on where Martinez might end up.

Well, we all know that if the ball is in Emi’s court, he’s just gonna fall on it and hold on to it for as long as possible.

If he's going I'd rather he went now, give us as much time as possible to get a replacement we want in.

It's up to the club to make that happen.  The message will surely be, fuck off (with our best wishes etc) in July or prepare to be in goals for 2025-26.

Barring the approaching deadline at the end of the month, where we may have to raise funds, we will be in control of this. There's no way the club would sell him without knowing exactly what the plan was to replace him and having secured something.

Just saw a video of Emis wife being interviewed by radio WM. She seems to be implying that he's not leaving. When asked about him being in tears on the final day and was it a goodbye to the fans she responded with "No. He's an emotional guy he loves the Villa fans and so do i" I don't know how to put it on here.
