Would be very painful to see him go to Man Utd - not to mention a hugely bizare decision for his career.  I really hope it doesnt happen as it will leave a bad taste in the mouth for countless reasons.

Yes it would be very strange, career wise Chelsea would be the better option in England.

Quite frankly, either way his career can to get fuck.  And I don't say that in any particularly nasty way despite how it might sound.

Oh I agree. I just meant from his point of view Manchester United would be an unusual decision at this point.

He appears to be on a TV trailer promoting the Club World Cup.

The £80m+ Chelsea are likely to receive for playing in a competition for FIFA rewarding the filthy rich, themselves included, should just about cover his fee should he be stupid enough to go there.

To misquote Oscar Wilde, losing 1 goalkeeper in a single transfer window looks like misfortune, to lose both looks like carelessness!

No, that was space shuttles in Moonraker.

We can’t really sign a new first team keeper until we know what’s happening with the one we already got

We could be waiting for the new financial year to start before signing anyone, although I think we had an agreement with Barkley last year and then it was made official on July 1st. Or was that Tielemans the year before?

Well  we need a keeper regardless of what happens as emi foolishly  got himself sent off (banned for 1st game  of season) and massively  cost us the Cl spot, unless gauci will be in goal

He also made a ton of saves across the season to get us to a CL spot last season. And nearly this season. One incident, as poor a decision as it was, wasn’t the reason we missed out.

Emi has plenty of credit in the bank - and we wouldnt be where we were without him.  But - he shat the bed in that Man Utd game.  To be fair - between the FA Cup Semi and the Man Utd games - most players were found wanting one way or another

Zero bearing on if he’s staying or going. But his wife is about to be interviewed on WM about her new shop in Tamworth opening.

Fcuking hell it is coming to something when he would rather join Tamworth as opposed to staying with us.
