Think he'll be gone by end of June.

Sort of interview you give when you know you're leaving shortly.
Absolutely

If Garcia is going to Barca - how many clubs can afford Emi and offer him a similar or better level than villa?

Emi Martínez: “Leaving Aston Villa? I don’t know, I came here to play for the national team. That’s the only thing that matters to me right now. Um, that’s it — the market just opened, there’s still a long way to go.”

In the old days, that would be considered a 'come and get me' plea.

Maybe Villa think he's on the wane and this is one of the better options to balance the books without upsetting the balance of the team.

Garcia hasn't agreed to go to Barca, he's keeping his powder dry as most importantly, he wants to play, not be sitting on the bench. Right now he's waiting to see what happens. Barca already have two top keepers who both want to stay.

That's the thing. I love him, too, and we will be a 'different' side without him around, but if there is the possibility of selling him, it depends what the ultimate outcome that we want is.

If it's to bring the wage bill down and make the numbers look better, that's sad. If it's to fund some other amazing signing / keep hold of a player who is more valuable to us right now than Emi, then it's significantly less bad.

Szczęsny must have a fucking brilliant agent.  Almost ten years spent at Juventus and Barcelona.

Chesny (cba) used to be a bit of a joke figure at Arsenal. Bit mad seeing him rated so highly now.

I've never forgiven the useless twat for chucking the League Cup to Small Heath.

Another reason to hate Arsenal as if there weren't enough.

Pretty much word for word a player says when they are off.
Just hope its not to a PL team.
