I read a report this morning that said we had no intention of selling him.  However, the same report also said that we had no need to sell as we had already secured our CL status!

Thats because they have heard the rumour that Man City are going to cash in there 115 this summer when it hurts least.

If we do sell him, that feels to me like the sort of price we'd get.

Meh. Keep at that price. He must shift enough goal keeping shirts to subsidise a chunk of his wages. What he does for our profile is priceless. Love Emi.

TS loves to sell off our players for bargain basement prices. They do the same with anybody who doesn’t play for the increasingly historic Sky 6.

And now according to Talkshite the price is £40m.

So £20 million more than we paid for him, when in the intervening period he has been named the best GK in the world twice and won every international tournament he's played in.  Oh, and £8 million less than Manure paid for Andre Onana?

There's the usual Talkshite ill-informed bullshit, and then there's this.

I think that'd be pretty criminal from the club, tbh.

The fact that all the news makes it clear we have to sell doesnt really help are bargining power.

"Before we start, can we just say were absolutely desperate for cash - but please dont let that effect your bid"

Anyone can see that, though, to judge our financial position.

Has there been news that we have to sell? or is this just the usual media talk?
