Sorry you’re just talking nonsense - “accept first offer that comes along” I struggle to see how any of the sales we’ve made haven’t made sense - I didn’t want to lose Doug, but he wanted to go. Duran was always agitating and we got a brilliant price.

Luiz may have (though it appears he regrets it now) but Duran would have stayed if he'd been used properly.  Sell Martinez and should his replacement not work, Emery and his staff will rightly face the brunt of fans anger.  Blame PSR all you want, but constant talk of selling all of our players and then selling below market value is a completely short-sighted policy.

Duran nearly went for the relegation battle at West Ham. He’s following the money, get over him.

But the deal we got for him from an oil state was terrible on our part, as was the Luiz deal.  We're in this position because we have owners who are not clever enough to circumnavigate the rules.  No sponsorship for Villa Park or the training ground, like other clubs.  It might not be palatable, but if we want to compete, then starting being intelligent

All well and good but we can't really take them seriously until they're on the pitch shouting that this is our time or coming up with a catchy acronym.

Emi would be one of the last I would get rid of for PSr/FFP reasons, as well as being one of the most consistent keepers in the league he also adds more behind the scenes I imagine.

If he goes then I hope it’s for an astronomical fee

For me though he stays

It’ll be about wages I suspect.

He has a contract until 2027 though, so in a strong position to sell at least. I just think he, along with SJM/Ty/Ollie are the glue that holds us together so to speak. Will be a sad day when any of them leave.

If they had anything about them they'd have let us fall into the third tier where there's no spending rules so we'd have a chance to flat track bully our way through the likes of Solihull School for the Blind every week, but no, they go and get promoted at the first opportunity, the twats.

I thought it was Palace at home. We won 3-1 I think and Staunton scored direct from a corner.

You're right. Chelsea was the previous midweek. We lost and there was a lot of chuntering about Ellis.

I have no recollection of either game but I remember BFR on the pitch. Did he ever learn how to pronounce "Saunders"?

Do we, Villa Incorporated or whichever company is looked at for the finances own Villa Park? So do the club get anything for sponsoring the ground if they don't own it.
