Can’t really see the PSR aspect, we’d want a lot more than clubs would want to pay imo. There are other players that would command a bigger fee and would be easier to replace, if it’s a footballing decision then so be it, not that I agree with it and I think UE would be foolish to come to that conclusion.
I think its just the maths of it.  On our books hes probably worth about 5m - so sell him for 30m and we make 25m.  Which means we can spend another 100m or whatever.

Its makes no sense and it reduces everyone enjoyment in the game but apparently thats fair play

You can’t spend £100m for every £20m you take in. Why do people keep saying that? You spend £100m and then spread the cost over 5 years. So next year you have to book another £20m cost and the year after and so on. It catches up with you very quickly

Imagine the fire and rage on here when it's announced he's going to MU. They need a new keeper.

Rashford and 50million to them.

Unless you sell you're hotels, women's team and 97 youngsters for inflated fees.

Ohhh....

Do you mean 50m to us?

Maybe Asensio has had a word with Donnarumma.

There's only one person at the club who's loss would be devastating, and that's the living deity who manages us.

Noooooooooooooo!

Can't see him going to Saudi, despite the silly money on offer, what with the World Cup next year: he'd want to help Argentina defend it, after all.

If there's anything in the Barca rumours, I'd rather he'd
went there than another English club: that'll be just heartbreaking! Who could replace him? Surely as Olsen's leaving, we would let go of both goalkeepers at once?

Never mind fuck VAR, fuck PSR!

Because they have to leave us - because an accountant decided it

Accountancy is a noble profession. There's no need to cast aspersions on it with unfounded allegations.
Mate - Im a software developer - no one wants to see football clubs relegated due to not meeting web accessibility standards

I do. It would be hilarious

If he moves to Barcelona, if that’s the rumour, I couldn’t blame him. It would be gutting but not as hurtful as when Grealish left.

Romano

Emi Martínez will assess all the options also from Europe after Saudi Pro League clubs approaches, as he’s expected to leave Aston Villa.

Villa are among several clubs showing interest in Joan García, open race ahead.

I'd hate to see him go, but it would be nice if buying him meant they couldn't afford Rashford and we could...

Will Barca be able to fund him? They are already struggling to register players and would have to sell to buy. As for not Saudi due to the world cup. There are some really good attackers over there already and crap defenders so he should get plenty of chances to practice saves.

tbh I can’t see why they’d want Rashford.

I mean - I woudlnt be shocked if Emi is one of those guys that crys after sex and is all emotional and stuff - but think there is a very good chance thats the last time we've seen him in a Villa shirt at Villa Park.

The way he shagged the World Cup in front of the Qatari dignitaries, I think it's more likely that he chuckles his way through love-making.
