He looks like he's wearing dust covers on his shoes too, the thoughtful tradesman who pays attention to every detail.

Looks like he's taken a set of bowls with him (or boules).

You know he'd be the absolute best gas engineer in the world, ultra professional with a best tools, but he'd spend the whole visit shit talking about the bloke who installed it and all of the other gas engineers around.

John Percy has unbuckled his belt and shat into the gods' garden pond. The one they keep their koi carp in.

You've got to give it to the Argies - they produce fantastic players.

As well as being a brilliant shot stopper, his distribution up field is amazing. The accuracy of his long kicks is superb.

Yep, and that's the part of his game that we'll struggle to replace when we sell him.and try to sign a replacement for a quarter of the fee.

... But he made mistakes in 2 games (that we won) so fuck him, doesn't matter if he is world number 1 twice, anyone who can think for themselves knows better.

Also, I don't think yesterday's goal was really an Emi mistake. Schar's a couple of yards away and Emi can't move across to that side of the goal with his ankles together.

One of those where if there's any blame (and obviously not everything needs blame attached to it) it's in not getting the initial free-kick away (but even then, we give it away while trying to break, so high risk = high reward doesn't always pay off) or in both centre-backs getting drawn away from Schar because they both follow Dan Burn.

A bloke behind me on the Holte lost his rag for about 10 minutes after their goal. He probably should have saved it but this feller just wouldn’t stop slagging him off at the top of his voice.

It was a little vignette on the match thread yesterday.

I don’t think he’s been quite as good this season but I’d still have him over anyone else.
Best keeper we’ve had for donkey’s years.
