“I feel the same love here as I feel for the national team, so why change?”

Massive cock thrust!

Ive got huge respect for Argentinian footballers - the quality of their overseas exports is just ridiculously high and its not often they fail. Their record at international tournament level is phenomenal. This man basically took that respect to another level. If i was a woman i'd have his children.

I absolutely fucking love the mad bastard.

Yes, the Argentinian John Burridge. Just more ability (Budgie was pretty good) and unless he plays until his mid 40s when he finishes with us, a lot less clubs.

As Souness once put it, "The point about the Argentines was you could never sicken them. They have that mixture of Italian and Spanish — a Latin flair tempered with a steeliness — and that’s why I’ve always thought they produce the best players. Argentinian footballers have an attitude and resolve like few others. They’re never beaten."

It’s great news but please someone give any information on the Q and A session that took place?
Was this news announcement part of his Q and A ?

He likes Ryanair long haul to Buenos Aires.

I reckon him winning the World Cup and being a national hero has done us a favour. I'm all for it. Love the mad bastard

Apart from obviously committing himself to us he’s a massively vocal voice in the changing room.  I feel so excited about this era.

He seems like the kind of player who would motivate players to run through a brick wall. Like they'd fully believe they could do it because Emi Martinez told them they could.

Forever! He's going to be pretty much a one club man by the time he hangs his gloves up, at least in terms of playing for a club that matters to him.

We'll win something with Emi here.

He said when he last signed a contract we'd qualify for Europe soon and we did that. Then after the Brighton game he took the mic and said "Champions league is next." 12 months later....

Now changed his number specifically to the one he's worn for his national team that has claimed two Copas and a World cup.

Penalty shoot out in FA cup final with him in goal feels like destiny at some point in the next five years.

Fantastic news for us. He’s the best keeper we’ve had since Jimmy Rimmer.
One in the eye for the press who’ve been trying to sell him for a while but more importantly a huge plus for this club.
