Last night made my mind up for me he is the most important player in the team by far and will get my vote for player of the season

Some teams have a world-class players upfront scoring goals and making the difference, we have a world-class player in goals stopping team scoring and having the same effect on the scoreboard

We would be nowhere near Champions League football without him
He is the best I’ve ever seen at VP

Agreed John.

When he is missing, it leaves a hole the size of TON 618 in goal because the backup cant be relied upon for either his feet or his hands...

I have felt this for ages. He’s not just the best keeper in the world. But he’s our Kevin DeBruyne in that when he plays he elevates all those around him. He brings that aura and just adds confidence to the players and fans. He is much more than a keeper for us. He is a leader on and off the pitch.

On the commentary last night they said that Emi has the most touches of all players in the Premier League.

That sums up his importance to us and how we are where we are.

Emery says mañana is key regards Martinez.

"Tomorrow is the training session and we can have more information. Some players played yesterday and came in with small injuries and could be available for Sunday. Until tomorrow it's impossible to know.

Tomorrow is the key day in case he will feel comfortable and without risk. He could be available for Sunday but one day is very important for some players and one of them is Emiliano."

I'd continue to rest him for Brighton, to make sure he's in tip-top shape for Thursday (and Liverpool).

We can play Olson on Thursday, because the game is going to be played entirely in the Olympiakos half (flex muscle emoji).

Not if that outrageous charlatan of a "referee" has his fucking way it won't.

It won't be the same ref again surely?
