Genesis 19: 30-36. Do not give your dad a bottle of wine so he will shag you both and get you both pregnant.

I liked the one with the boat and all the horny animals.

I know naff all about religion, where was the destination point for this swingers cruise? As a kid I saw drawings of them going in but I don't recall seeing them get off. Are they still out there?

Same. Having not read the Bible, I often wondered if Noah took his wife on this boat, or if he chose to be alone with these animals for the sake of his own... research.

The Church is against incest, apart from the two times the bible promotes it for humans to populate the earth. He did board the ark with his wife , their three sons and the sons wives. Their was still, as fallout put it, "cousin stuff" that would have had to occur within the first few years.

Lot's daughters got him drunk to force him to get them pregnant because there were no other men around after the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

So the children born were Lot's sons and grandsons, as well as being brothers, half-brothers and cousins all at the same time. And season ticket holders at the Sty, obviously.

edit: which is the bit to which Bad English referred to upthread.

Strangely not covered in my studies, but then his wife was dead so I doubt he needed much convincing. (Plus even if the cities hadn't been destroyed, the daughters wouldn't have got pregnant because the men liked the other hole so much.)

I'm asking how you tally your current Martinez worship with the fact not long ago you were suggesting Martinez is long term to be replaced by Olsen.

A bit like saying the Beatles should have replaced John with Frankie Howerd.

Also how Martinez was sulking and refusing to play because he didn’t like Emery’s team selection or tactics…

That's past theory and besides the point to the current discussion.
Why isn't Martinez recognised as the best Premier League goalkeeper?
Heard ex players like Rob Green not really supportive only Bosnich  has acknowledged him.
Regards pundits on Sky, TNT,  Talk sport and BBC thet don't focus and highlight his goal keeping abilities. This is what is being raised for discussion.

I bet Martinez has sleepless nights because Rob Green doesn't rate him. I've heard Kevin Poole isn't a big fan either........

Emi is in our eyes the ‘Worlds number 1’ and officialdom backs this up, have we ever had a Worlds best in a position before?

Possibly Paul McGrath, but I can’t think of another, therefore is Emi in the conversation for greatest Villa player of all time?

Premier League Era our best seasons where Villa finish 6th or higher. Our Goal Keepers were
Spink, Bosnich, Sørensen, James, Carson, Friedel.

Martinez must be the best?
And yes certainly as goal keeper in last 100 years has to be our greatest player in that position.

Ok from my knowledge it would be Martinez. But I guess history says it's Jimmy Rimmer as the greatest.

You’ve gone mad for these 100 years things the last few days footy.
In my time for what its worth, Martinez is the best imo

Well it is a decent number and 100 years is a long time so I think it's a good measurement.

Personally I think it's a bit pointless, outside the last 20-30 years the best you can do is rely on memories, stats or curated highlights and non of those can compare with actually watching players live this season. On top of that the equipment, pitches, general fitness and rules have all changed so significantly that direct comparison is impossible.

The ones who have seen them all play however, are the only ones who can truly answer.
They are the most wise and experienced, having witnessed it all.
Players of the present generation, such as Martinez, Watkins, Luiz, and Bailey, must compare favourably to the top players of 08, 96,  92/93, 80/ 81/82 and years  before in 60s and 70s  in their positions during the last century. Based on my limited experience, I believe that those named players must be up therein history based on this wonderful seasons, but others may disagree.

You can't really compare, up until the late 70s keepers often didn't wear gloves of any kind, now they wear massive gloves. Back then it was some spit and dirt to help. Balls were very different, and so on.
