Emi should have just stood there and laughed at Maupay for looking like the fucking twat he is.

You are right though. Emi should have just let Maupay lie there and waste time.

Martínez obviously thrives on other players' antics as well as his own, but I wish he'd tone it down sometimes.

He was almost as childish as Maupay, which takes some doing, and all he ended up doing from then was lighting the touch paper for others to get involved.

Thought he over reacted when Maupay bumped into him and he shouldn’t have risen when he was flailing on the floor at the end of the game. I suppose in the heat of the moment it’s difficult but pricks like Maupay are best ignored.

He lives on the line and that's part of what makes him the best. If you live on the line sometimes it gets crossed. Three points. Job done. Love him.

That's the point, Maupay was wasting his own time. All Emi needed to do was put his foot on the ball and let Maupay lie there for as long as he wanted.

Given Emi is the king of shithousing he got sucked in by it and it led to him and SUE getting booked and Kamara getting a red.

Their brains switched off and emotions got the better of them. It was very daft but we did show a lot of spirit and fight to win this.

This was an episode in the game, the first this season, where Mings’ control of the situation was sorely missed. As much as I love SJM he doesn’t have Mings’ influence.

It was silly from Emi, Maupay going down helps us. But he was brilliant today again.

Mings has been known to drag people up by their shirt, a couple of incidents on Patrick Bamford spring to mind.
