“It’s massive, the club. I’m proud of playing for Aston Villa you know. I’m really proud. I love it here. I’m trying to bring friends to Villa, the Argentinians!”

Quick question,
My mate runs a charity for Glioblastoma (brain cancer) and has an event coming up.
He has managed to get a signed top by our worlds number one.
They’re going to auction it off, but have no idea of what they should be looking at.
I said as he’s a World Cup winner and considered the best in the world it could be worth a fair amount to the right person.
My question is: Does any have any idea of what it could go for?
Or, if you were bidding what would be your limit?

Thanks in advance

A big thing will be if there's proof it's a genuine Emi signature. The price for this one includes solid proof it's all legit but may help as a rough guide.

As an aside, form an orderly queue to spend £250 on this prized beauty

Spoiler for Hiden:

He would have probably done a better job on the pitch than off it.

That’s brilliant, PWS.
I don’t doubt it’s genuine. To be honest , I think my mate would have sourced that information
Thanks

I'm not an expert, but you might do better for the charity if you sell raffle tickets - e.g., 50 tickets at a tenner nets £500 (obviously).

I imagine more people might be happy to chip in a few quid for charity with the chance of winning something, than spending hundreds to be certain to secure an item. Good luck whatever.
