Yes, neither Martinez nor Emery said that. When it comes to relationships, we all know that it is the people involved feelings that matter not the agent
If it were the case we would  hear a declaration of love from one of them.

There's a healthy respect between them, so there's no need for the agent to start coming out and overcompensating with grandiose ideas of a perfect marriage between them. There's also an interpretation of 'centre' and 'forward' hints. Indicating the Martinez corner incident.

Emery wants to keep him in the team so he's not looking to replace him that's great as Emery will fine tune Martinez.

To keep the feel-good factor at the club we have to be doing the business in the transfer market this summer. All our better players are presumably buying into Emery's methods and professionalism but a poor end to the season and lethargic June in the market may well see our bright lights getting itchy text finger to their agents.
