After their midweek exploits, I thought we would have the energy in the last 15 minutes to win this. What happens. Emi slows the game down again!!

I like Emi he really is a great keeper but he’ll be gone in the summer. He’s not good enough with his feet for how Unai wants to play.

Can’t blame him for going up for the corner, we were losing anyway, we ended up losing by one more goal.

The one thing I don’t get is the slowing down of the game when we’re on the front foot, not the shithousery when we’re trying to hold a late lead. It was really noticeable against Leicester when we’d not long scored the second and Emi stood there, with the ball under his foot and didn’t move, for ages.

We lost all momentum that we had and end up behind before half time.

In the long term though, I hope he’s our goalkeeper and we buy quality to play in front of him.

He’s a decent keeper but I’m not sure he’s quite as good as a lot of people (himself included?) seem to think. It’s not that difficult to recruit a good goalkeeper compared to how rare top strikers are, for example. If he goes it’ll be a bit sad but not the end of the world.

He'll be fine as long as he doesn't get obsessed with being this King of Shithousery and Youtube compilations. Make your saves, do your job, bollock the defenders and do what comes naturally. There's no need to go over the top about anything.

I felt he was an adequate keeper before his WC exploits. Since then he seems to have been lofted onto a pedestal where quite frankly he doesn’t belong. Happy to sell in the summer for a decent £.

Because the game was more likely there to be lost at 2-2 if we kept playing at 100mph.  I'd guess a large percentage of people would've taken a point at that stage, it would've been a decent point.

We slowed it down and on another day Bailey scores and it's a great performance from everyone. The game can still be won without playing it at breakneck speed with tired players.

I can understand why he was doing it.  And I had money on him being booked so definitely agree with it!

Distribution/time wasting now a problem. I said the same at half time when we were on top. Poor for second and I thought was fortunate for the Nketiah chance (had to deal with that cross). But their effective winner sums up our luck lately. No fault for him for that.
