The gossip page of BBC Football has reported a rift between EM and UE. Whether that page has some substantiation requirement or literally just prints any old shite I'm not sure...

The thing that is really, really pissing me off is the amount of self-important attention-seekers on Twitter pushing stories for likes and followers and the amount of comments they attract about how if he wants to go we should sell him.

I'm not sure how reliable this Spanish site is, but it suggests that Emery doesn't see eye to eye with Martínez and that there were some run ins even before the World Cup. If so, it would have been odd to have fallen out so quickly.

If this it to be believed, he wants to sell Emi and get in Bono.

Apparently not. When asked why he declined to pursue the transfer, Emery said that he still hadn't found what he was looking for

Emi asked Emery if he wanted him to stay, and Emery said that we'd achieve success with or without you.

They went to scout him but got lost, he plays where the streets have no name.

Rumours about Bono joining Villa have been going around since at least October

After winning the world Cup I just hope he still has the desire.

According to football insider we are looking at American keeper Joshua Tree as his potential replacement.

Are you sure? I've searched Wikipedia and I still haven't found what I'm looking for?

Surely Olsen won't still be goalie when we get to New Year's Day?
