And the real king of that album is Nothing Can Stop Us Now.

Correct.

Thirded.

Hobart Paving is their best song in my opinion.  Great band anyway.

Tiger Bay is my favourite, reminds me of my final year of university.

But anyway, we seem to have run out of goalies, so if Mr Martinez could drag his arse back and do the job he's paid handsomely to do, that would be nice.

I realize we all want him back but the adulation he is getting back home is something he should be allowed to enjoy. It might be a once in lifetime event. And if the club make demands of him to get home it could alienate him. He’s a brilliant pro and soon as he gets back I have no doubt he will be focused and ready to pledge himself to our cause. 150k people showed up in his home town and he’s been given the keys to the city.

OK, only if he foregoes his wages this week.

Yeh the club should try and ask for that. I am sure it would be happily received by Emi and his agent. Blimey, I'm glad I don't work for you

Oh I don’t know, I’ve found a boss with a sense of humour quite a good thing.

I agree. It's a huge deal for him, and he's been working the last six weeks whereas most of our squad have been doing standard training and sleeping in their own beds.

If he returns reluctantly, he won't be in the right frame of mind. His performances for us are what got him there, so we've already had the benefit over the last however many months.

I am club over country 100 times out of 100, but my position is to give him a pass for one game to celebrate what will almost certainly be the highlight of his career.

Agree completely.  The guy was the hero of the world cup winning team and he should absolutely be allowed to soak in every moment of that.

I've cringed at some of the things he's done but then I can be a bit of a stick in the mud sometimes. I was like that when the 2005 Ashes team were on TV obviously pissed as rats.

But they, like Emi have achieved what everyone who plays their sport wants to so looking at it another way, they have earned the right.

Now when people act like monumental arses, having only made a minor contribution to a team success, that's a different matter.....

Except for Paul Collingwood who famously received his honour for scoring 7 at the Oval. I think.

Sarah Cracknell has a lovely voice. Was lovely to look at too.

And when they played a gig in Brum, the backdrop to their stage set was a large sign reading “Viva Ron Saunders”. Gotta love them for that alone.

I once literally bumped into Sarah Cracknell on New Street. I couldn't place who it was for a couple minutes though.

With a stonking cover of Only Love Can Break Your Heart.

I endorse this message.

Andrew Weatherall mix for the win.

As much as I love Weatherall, Masters At Work Dub is the one
