Love Emi, but thought he comments after the game the other day were pretty poor. Culture of that Argentina team doesn’t seem great.

I would say quite the opposite. They seem very united. That first defeat aside they’ve only lost once in something like 40 odd games which included lifting Copa America. They don’t like the Dutch. Not just today but there has been some history there. But Van Gaal and the Dutch players aren’t innocent here so I think the Argentine players are just reacting to that.

I think they were reacting to comments Van Gaal made pre match which had really pissed them off. Apparently several of the Dutch players were also giving it the big one during the game. The focus has been on the Argies and their reactions since the game but I don’t think the Dutch are the shrinking violets they’ve been portrayed.

I agree. The whole Dutch bench piling on the pitch to remonstrate wasn't a good look. The player had only kicked the ball at them. Hard!

It hit an empty seat. No harm done.

If a Utd player did that at Villa Park, you’d be baying for a red. Get real

We don't have a particular beef with West Ham, Newcastle or Oxford, do we?

Get real, we'd do that for any non-Villa player. And if a Villa player did it, we'd be cheering them to the rafters.

I’m not so sure, mate.
It would depend on who it was, and if they’re flavour of the month.
At the moment if Emi did it, cheers all round.
If McGinn did it, he’d be a w**ker and should receive a red

I love Emi, but not the Argentinian national team. I hope Croatia win the whole thing.

No, Nazi collaborators. The French, Vichy ******, and the Argies gave them safe haven. So Morocco are the only team left to support.

Is this an ironic post? Just popped in for a read and it's WW2 again.

Aren’t you French now though?

SHOULDN’T YOU BE HANGING OUT WITH YOUR GERMAN MATES DOWN THE LOCAL BAR, TELLING THEM HOW GREAT THEY ARE?

Morocco was under Vichy control between 1940 and 1942 anyway...

Haha. Fair enough. I was just thinking of the Croatian girls I spent time with when I lived in Italy.

They've clouded my judgement :)

Don't! I tried the humour thing and it's not big or clever.

Yes. It can bring a man to tears. And we have learnt not to mock that too. :-)
