Im glad that we, and a few others, have told the Argentian Manager to fuck off when he suggested all Argentinian players to be left out of games between now and the world cup.

Think this may have been driven by Emi's knock on the nut on Saturday

Is that what the Jawdies were singing to him - "A knock on the nut's all fine all fine, Fog on the Tyne is all mine" ?

Captain under Emery
That's something I advocated under the last manager.
I hope we can all get behind Emi Martinez as some feel it has to be an outfield player
I always said he outside of Mings was the outstanding candidate for captain and it's good Emery has entrusted him.

Sorry, weren't you saying Olsen was the better keeper a few days ago?

I may well be completely wrong of course.

He said Olsen will replace Martinez in goal by Boxing Day. Off the scale level of bonkers

Oh, ok.

Absolutely no chance of that happening, injuries aside.

No at the start of the season I said Martinez for captain.
And the recent debate to Olsen was regards various circumstances.
Anyway let's get behind the boys been brilliant so far.
Emi having to do a bit on the ball and playing captain role.

And yet time wastes and gets a yellow card.
He can't help himself with that.

Could you bloody stop? You’re absolutely obsessed with him. You’re like a broken record.

A view from the dugout of him lining up Mings and Konsa for the free kick https://twitter.com/villanstogether/status/1589305441712209920?s=48&t=9hNxgX8qb_LTS_nw62wskQ

Jesus christ, give it a rest. He was absolutely impeccable today. A 3-1 win after Man U for the first time in 27 years, in which Martinez was excellent, and you come on here with your ridiculous agenda.

I wonder if this pushed De Gea over an extra foot, to expect a cross?

We were at the back of the Trinity and wondered wtf he was up to. I'm still none the wiser to be honest.

To be fair, he was demonstrating his leadership skills as Captain today, and he made some good saves.

I'll now then only ever point out his unnecessary bookings or any passing errors if it ends up that it costs us, as I don't want it to be an I told you so situation.

Let us concentrate on his strengths and enjoy him while we can.

He has a great chance of winning the World Cup with Argentina and we should all be supporting him.
