Before the accidental clash with Mings he was wasting time. I’ve paid good money to see a game of football, not time wasting to try to get to half time still at 0-0.

*wink*

I'm not with you. Match tickets and rip off train tickets meant today was not a cheap day out.

Joke - I didn't know you'd been up there, I'd assumed you watched it on a stream (in as much as one can watch a PADL stream these days).

Ah fair enough. I'll have you know though that I also pay for my streams, which always seems like such good value as I watch a goal go in (against us) two minutes after PWS has announced it.

Most of the time he does it is to kill the oppponent's momentum for a minute. And it often works. Him and Young are the only players we seem to have that are smart enough to do it.

He was doing it when we were 4-0 up against Brentford. I felt bad for poor Cam Archer trying to make an impression in the 10 minutes he's been given but  his goalie is taking forever from each restart. Looked really small-time.

I saw Martínez's tweet after the game and I think the first thing he saluted was the clean sheet, so I guess that's his main concern.

Yep, I'd be unhappy if we'd been chasing the game, but I'd like us to win, and get clean sheets.

I do not like his ducking around and taking ages to put the ballin play. I don’t pay to watch that.

It's when we do it when it's still 0-0 that bugs me. I get that we want to "take the sting out of the game" but it just kills any momentum we have as well and given our appalling away record there's not a large amount of evidence that it has a positive effect anyway.

Cutler leaving is this the beginning of the end for EM?

This serves to confirm my suspicions that Martinez might be long-term replaced due to the way Emery looking to play.

Javi Garcia,  new goalkeeping coach who has experience working with Martinez at Arsenal and has been a tried-and-true goalkeeping coach for Emery at several clubs -well he didn't have Martinez as first preference at Arsenal.

Will keep my eyes on this one.
Especially as Martinez could well be a world cup winner as part of the Argentina squad who are going to come close in my view.
Very interesting to see what happens.

Not at all. Hasn't he just signed a new contract anyway?

According to Emi himself he's fine and will play this weekend.

Im glad that we, and a few others, have told the Argentian Manager to fuck off when he suggested all Argentinian players to be left out of games between now and the world cup.

Think this may have been driven by Emi's knock on the nut on Saturday
