Emi was at the B6 Academy this morning. I was there with my grandson and he chatted to him and others. Apparently his son is a regular there. I have a nice photo of Emi and the little man which he will treasure forever.

Waaiittt a minute, never mind Emi, you're a grandfather???

Great story, must have been nice to meet the big man this morning. :)

Applause!

And what a lovely-looking boy. Fair play to your genes, Aftab.

As long as they can play for Villa, no worries.  Bit of a shame for Emi the Shorter, having just broken into the Argentina squad and playing though.  I'm sure he'll do it again.

Must he inist on such obvious time wasting that he will get booked. Booked again vs Brighton today.
His kicking and his time wasting prevention from him being world class everything else sublime.
Must be a case of anything for a clean sheet / victory.
That's all good but he does this alot if ahead and can start early and I don't like it because one day he'll be suspended and if we lose he may have been able to prevent.
I guess his take is the greater good.
Great keeper just needs to iron that and his wayward distribution and occasional forays from goal unnecessary

It's not a big issue. A couple of bookings for a keeper are fine in my view.

Getting booked for time wasting actually wastes even more time.  It's a good ploy.

Every booking adds 30 seconds of injury time, so I'm not sure it does.

I believe it's supposed to but doesn't always seem to be the case.
