Where is this news?
https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2022/january/21/mart-nez-signs-contract-extension-until-2027/

Just when I thought I couldn't love him more; "The fans like me, I love them, I just wanted to go and celebrate with them. Nothing wrong with that". Brilliant news.
It's gret stuff, love the bloke.

Great news. Just hope there isn't a release clause in there.

He badly needs an original chant, to show our appreciation for him.

I'll work on one and report back  8)

I have to admit that was my first, rather pessimistic, thought.  But I will banish that to room 101 and enjoy the fact instead.

Same here  -  Fantastic news.
Just what we needed to hear when some were starting to worry about his immediate future.

His presence and all-round demeanour on the pitch make seem older than just 29.

Awful isn’t it. Would be absolutely gutted if Emi left. Hope he finishes his career here.

Proper business. Huge statement of intent (from the club) and of belief in it (from Emi).

Best news of the window to date

With the recent signings coming in on fat contracts it's right he should be looking for a deal closer to theirs.

Make sure your best players are the best paid, and all that.

I told my wife - who hates football - but saw that mistake on Saturday - and she said exactly that

It's not like wives to remember that one mistake you make. ;)

Missed it as was out earlier but this is brilliant news as for me Emi has been the most important signing since we came up. Didn't think he would look to move as he was patient at Arsenal but very welcome all the same. Also a nice and long contract, didn't expect it to be till 2027.

my wife doesn't remember that one mistake. Simply because I do not make mistakes.

She will never see this.
