Mina is awful. What on earth possessed Everton to buy him?

A good a game or two at the World Cup. Never buy a player solely based on how they do at an international competition. Everton have a few of those types of player at the club. See also Pickford, J

The money they paid for Pickford, Jesus, but then you could say that for a whole team of their signings

Another thing I love about Emi is that, despite being only 28, he looks like a proper actual man. A throwback to the days when footballers looked older, instead of now when they all look like boys with affected haircuts.

His Copa America debut vs Chile finished 1-1. Has literally nothing to do all game. That is with the exception of a superb penalty save onto the bar that luckily fell to the Chile player to equalize. Other than that left the game injury free which is a win for us.

Was so unlucky with the penalty save. Argentina have a worse back 4 than we do which says something nowadays.

Always feels like it needs a top penalty to beat him if he dives the right way, Pereira stuck his top corner which I think was last he faced for us.

Would be very confident winning a shoot out with him in goal, would be like the two we won with Bosnich playing in 1994.

Yep, unbelievable stop from the dick with the A-Team haircut, Vidal. Very unlucky that the rebound fell kindly for Vargas.

Vidal is one of my favourite players in last decade but he'd be sent off five times a season if he played in premier league.

Indeed would've been about four red cards tonight if prem ref had been in charge.

Yes, both sides were full of moaning, whining bastards.

Not Emi, obviously...

Emi did what Emi does. Another clean sheet tonight vs Uruguay in a 1-0 win for Argentina.

Is that Alvarez still in the Argentina squad?  Agent Martinez could be earning a fortune if he’s getting 10% of every signing he negotiates.

Argentina beat Bolivia 4-1 last night in their last group-game. Messi became their most capped player. Our Emi was on the bench, some fella called Armani played instead. Not sure if he was being rested as Argentina were already on-course for the knock-outs.

Think Alvarez came on off the sun's bench.

Rumoured that his agent is coming to Brum and Amsterdam on Thursday
