I wish Arsenal would just pay him what they owe him and let him get on with it.
Or more accurately pay him what they don't owe him  but he claims the do.

It’s been so long now I reckon we will have sold him on again by the time we announce this one.

Or we might have bought another goalkeeper.

Is Martinez actually any good based on half a season with Arse? We signed Hogan on the same basis and look how good that turned out. Been on loan in championship before that

My mate was telling me he was on loan at Wolves five or six years ago.

Reading fans adored him for the season he spent there.

Perhaps we should sign your mate instead then.

If he signs he will be brilliant until he makes his first mistake - and then most will want him dropped

Listening to the south american football expert on sky (can't think of his name), he said that Martinez would only sign for a club who would guarantee he will be 1st choice, as he wants to be the Argentinian national team goalkeeper.

If he were not 1st choice with us - why would he leave Arsenal? he may as well sit on their subs bench

He starts the season for us as first choice, what happens after that is up to him. It won't be written into his contract that he always plays when fit or anything like that.

He's leaving Arsenal because he's guaranteed to start this season as second choice behind Leno.
