🚨 NEW: Man United have kept in touch with the people who represent Emi Martínez, with dialogue since the start of the year. Martínez is of the understanding that any pursuit depends on André Onana’s future. He does not want to go to Saudi Arabia, & would prefer to join Man United or another big European club.

Resigned that he is leaving - but still hoping its not Man Utd.  Having to sell Onana is a big ask

Surely he leaves before end of June or forget it?

Maybe it's the new 8 second rule which is driving this sale.
Martinez will be the one keeper in the PL that refs will be looking at the most.

That will last about three games then be completely forgotten about, like the rule that subs have to leave the pitch via the shortest route.

Not necessarily if the real crisis is the UEFA wages ratio.

Oh I thought it was all the same deadline. When do we have to fix that by?

Presumably next summer. As this year we have loads of transfer and Champions League revenue to stay within the rules.

Next year, we probably won't due to the £50m+ drop in income from 24/25 to 25/26.

I had a dream last night that he come to my house and told me he was staying. I started slagging Man U off to him and going on a bit, think I ended up changing his mind. Sorry.

And the kicking the ball away/preventing quick free kicks etc....Digne booked for it v Newcastle after about 3 minutes then Newcastle players doing it throughout the 2nd half, but that was fine...
And not crowding around the ref, pressurising him....some teams - Arse, ManCi£y, Yanited, Spuds - do it all the time!
The list goes on.

OK thanks, so I don't need to spend next Monday checking Sky Sports News, this is good because it's shite.

We have a big loss dropout next year don’t we?

But that doesn't matter for UEFA rules.
