Man City and their pile of corruption charges.
Chelsea and their 'we've sold this broom handle to our sister company for £10m'.

Nothing stopping us from doing what Man City have done (breaking the rules and facing charges) and what Chelsea have done (not breaking any rules.)

Indeed. I expect there are teams who feel similarly aggrieved by the fact that our stadium is now owned by NSWE Stadium Ltd and the club is nearly £60m richer as a result.

I’ve cracked it.

Ross McCormack's 'Unmade Bed' should be worth a few bob as well.

So all is good and we are not likely to have to sell any of our players whist city continue to stockpile players and Chelsea take the raving piss.

And does anyone really truly believe that city will be hammered for thier breaches and Chelsea held to account?......no nor me.

Makes me wonder why we even bother to be competitive in the face of such crookedness.

So why have not everyone else done it as well?

Could it be that the Premier league are fearful of the crippling costs to take these properly to account. Any genuine decision made against the likes of city will incur appeal after appeal and so it will go on.
Simon Jordan estimated this will not be resolved before the end of this decade. I'm starting to believe it

If he goes to that fucking cesspit of a team I'll be first down to VP to paint over his fucking mural.

Christ almighty, you're a grown man.

I don't want him to leave, and I don't want him to go there under any circumstances, but to think that's good reason to literally erase memories of the best keeper we have had, who became one of the most recognisable faces in world football with us, despite much of that time being in a struggling team, that's absolutely bonkers, and I suspect you'd be the only person down there with your can pf paint and brush.

Not sure which of the two quotes to respond to, so I’m choosing neither. Dave will sort it presumably. Hopefully.

the problem is if C115y get found guilty then it opens up all sorts of lawsuits from other parties . It just isn't going to happen.

If Manchester City are found not guilty the law still applies, and there will be no shortage of lawyers and billionaires who will take up equal and opposite cases.

hence why it will keep dragging on and on and on, effectively not being sentenced or dealt with.

I'll have my own opinions thanks. The same was applicable when Yorke went there he was dead as far as I was concerened and has remained so ever since.

I'd rather Emi go to the Blues than them. Anywhere else and I would say thanks for the memories and starting us on this journey...but not there...sorry

The saddest part of it all is that it is all so predictable and true. City know it, the Premier league know it as do all the other teams , supporters and army of lawyers.

Money talks and the Premier league is not a bottomless pit like oil states are and certainly cannot afford to lose the case so not sure where this ends up......meanwhile I appreciate that everyone is innocent till proven guilty bt to allow them to just carry on regardless is just so wong

You're welcome to your own opinions, and I'm challenging them, what with you having posted them here.

I get the fact you hate Man United, and so do I, for the same reasons you do, more than likely, but if he ends up there it can really only be because the club have pushed to sell him and they've offered big money, it can't be for actual career progression, as they're at least 3 years off being competitive again.

I dunno, I just think it's incredibly harsh to take that approach to Martinez, of all players, given his history with us.

It's not like - for example - Gareth Barry begging to be allowed to go to Portsmouth, or that front page Mail story of him with his sad face about his Liverpool dream. That's an example where the player motivation would have perhaps justified your sort of response, but not Martinez.
