A report* that he'll play tonight: https://x.com/AVFC_espanol/status/1864350574554058848

*I have no idea whether it's reliable.

It’s just part of Unai’s trickery. He’s feeding AVFC_Español with that info. Thomas Frank is going to look a right idiot now he’s cancelled his press.

I think thats probably keeping brentford on their  toes

If he has fractured his finger  i dont see how he can play

Of course it isn’t. Brentford aren’t going to change the way they play because of who plays in goal.

Yeah  ok if you really believe that 😂😂😂

I did really believe that. 🍋

One of the worst things about yesterday is it means that save is ultimately pretty meaningless.

Had we gone on to win 1-0 it would have gone down as one of those "moments" that gets remembered for years.

It goes into the same basket as McGinn against Sheffield Wed.

It was a ridiculous save. The header was at point blank range and he had virtually no time to react. As you say, the defeat tarnishes the save but it shouldn't be forgotten.

It was outrageous. But it’s like the save in the WC. Had somehow France found a way after that to equalize and win the cup that save would have been lost in time. We shouldn’t forget the save but the rest of the players let him down by allowing Forest to come back and win.

They had equalised - that would have won it and not given Emi the chance to win the shoot-out.

Named in FIFA's team of the year.

Thoroughly deserved.

Seems to win every award he's up for. Now let's stick a decent defence in front of him and hopefully he can win something with us.

Given his FIFA awards over the last few years it’s strange that he constantly gets overlooked in the ‘best in the world’ conversations.

FIFA team of the year with representatives from Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester City, Arsenal (lucky to be there in my opinion) and Aston Villa.

What a save it was, and the strange or funny thing about it was that if he'd saved the ball from crossing line, and it had then come back and hit him, he could so easily have been credited with an own goal. How unlucky would that have been?

Do you think it would be different if he played for Cite£, Chelsea, Redfilth, 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' etc - of course it would.

Some commentators even say "So called best in the world"  cheeky biased twats

Only 23rd best player in the world according to the Grauniad - interesting to see if they rate another keeper more highly.
