He’s fully deserved it and it wouldn’t surprise me if he has a great tournament. He’s on a brilliant run of form.

He’s a cracking lad and this season has been tough, he’s admitted it a few times lately and it must have been very frustrating for him. He’s really switched it on during the last two months and helped us achieve Champions League and a cup win. He’s certainly cemented his place in Villa folklore.

Toney being in is a big surprise, as I thought we'd continue to play "one" up top, with Ollie as Kane's back-up, and then have room in the squad for one of Palmer or Foden - knowing that Rashford could play up front in case of an unlikely injury crisis to both Kane AND Ollie.
